Build, configure and code

UGOT is a multi-configuration modular robotics platform that connects assembly, robotics kinematics, artificial intelligence and programming. It uses a quick-lock design to transform between robot forms; the wider system supports up to seven configurations, subject to the specific kit selected.

Key capabilities

  • Modular assembly for hands-on robotics and mechanical engineering
  • Graphical coding with uCode and Python programming through uPython
  • Computer vision, intelligent interaction and sensor-based projects
  • Open integration options, including selected Micro:bit, Arduino and Raspberry Pi uses
  • Classroom challenges exploring autonomous behaviours, control and sensing

Technical overview

Published UGOT platform specifications include a quad-core Cortex-A55 processor, AI processing capability of up to 1 TOPS, a camera, integrated sensors, wireless connections and an array of actuators. The components supplied will depend on the specific kit configuration.

Space Exploration learning programme

The published curriculum describes 14 learning topics across approximately 30 class hours, intended primarily for middle-school learners (around Grades 7–8). Lessons use scenarios such as flight planning, lunar exploration and navigating unfamiliar environments to develop computational thinking, machine vision and teamwork.

  • Five mission-inspired builds, including wheeled, quadruped and transforming designs
  • Hands-on programming through graphical coding and Python development
  • Exploring gesture, object and face recognition, subject to the selected kit and software
  • Suggested collaborative activities for small student groups

Supplementary maps, themed props and accessories may be offered separately; do not assume they are included in the standard kit. Teaching resources and licensing should be verified before ordering.

Illustrations and curriculum descriptions are provided for product evaluation. Images and specific supply arrangements should be confirmed with the product rights holder before commercial use.
